NomaSign is certificate agnostic and can work with certificates from most commercial CAs or government root CAs. NomaSign provides the signing application; the signer, organisation, or trust-service provider supplies the certificate and identity process. Integration setup and certificate issuance can add third-party cost depending on how certificates are supplied. We can also provide HSM-backed certificate storage for company or personal certificates for a small additional fee.

What does 'unlimited documents' mean?
Under our fair-use policy, you can send as many documents as your business needs without per-document fees. This covers typical business usage and we don't charge penalties for high-volume months. If you consistently exceed normal volumes, we'll work with you on an appropriate plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! You can try NomaSign free for 14 days with full access to all features. No credit card required to start.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When you switch, you'll be charged the new rate on your next billing date.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Verve cards. South African customers can also pay via Instant EFT or Scan to Pay QR codes. We can arrange invoicing for annual plans on request.
What's the buy-out offer for competitors?
If you're currently under contract with another e-signature provider, we'll give you the remaining time on your existing contract for free when you purchase a NomaSign subscription. For example, if you have 6 months left on your current contract and purchase an annual plan, you'll get 18 months of NomaSign. Contact us with proof of your existing contract to claim this offer.
Are electronic signatures legally valid?
Yes, in most countries they are. The ECT Act covers South Africa, ESIGN does the same in the US, and eIDAS handles the EU. Some document types or regulated workflows require a higher assurance level, which is where certificate-backed digital signatures such as AeS or QeS can matter.
Does NomaSign support AeS and QeS?
Yes. NomaSign supports Advanced Electronic Signatures (AeS) and Qualified Electronic Signatures (QeS). The key point is that the signing person or organisation has to provide the required certificate, because that certificate and the associated identity process are what determine whether the signature qualifies as AeS or QeS. NomaSign is certificate agnostic, so it can work with certificates from many commercial CAs and government root CAs.
Can NomaSign provide AeS and QeS certificates?
Yes. Different jurisdictions use different approved providers and certificate-issuance mechanisms. NomaSign is certificate agnostic and supports most of them. Talk to us and we’ll guide you on the right option for your jurisdiction, provider model, and signer setup.
Can NomaSign store certificates in an HSM?
Yes. If you need secure storage for company or personal certificates, we can provide HSM-backed storage for a small additional fee. That is separate from any certificate issuance, identity proofing, or trust-service costs charged by your chosen provider.
